Question by Brandon: freshman for golf sports, any advise?
I am going to start the golf sports, any advise for new hand? and I only got driver and fairywood, want buy a set of iron set, ask for more suggestion. thanks.

First thing is that you need clubs. A driver and 3 wood aren’t going to cut it. Get yourself a decent used set of irons and a putter and bag.

Next is practice practice practice. I would recommend taking some lessons so that you can groove a good swing from the start. If you don’t, you may fall into bad habits and never recover.

Watch golf, take care of your equipment, and practice properly. You’ll do fine.

Pro boxing, rugby, cricket, golf are all currently banned at the Olympics and thats just a few.

If you included all the sports you’re listing, it would take the four years to complete every games! Seriously though, I’ve never understood why they included the likes of tennis. The Olympics is trying to be everything to every man. It’s just not possible to please everyone. Unless you’re me and avoid it like the plague.

(bet you’re not complaining about the women’s beach volleyball being included)

What? you can run the score up in any sport, but most teams will view it as un-sportsman like if you do…it is not a written rule, but an unwritten rule.

EXAMPLE:
1.bunting people up or stealing in baseball when your ahead by 10 or more would probably result in getting a ball thrown at the next batters head….

2. passing the ball in a football game when your up by 21 in the 4th quarter with under 2:00 left, will probably get a dirty hit on your QB no matter what the Penalty.

Have u ever tried to land a shot like some of those guys on tv, it may be just me but im not so great at it. No it may not be a physically draining as football but it still takes time and practise to get good at. Cheerleading is of course a spot, it takes fitness, agility, flexibility, practise an patience not to mention balance and trust. I can understand why u might not think of them as sports, hell lots of people dont. But i myself know that i could never do what some of those guys do and i have a great amount of repect for that.
Thats my opinion anyway.
